I want to purchase the software but I have couple of questions:

  1. Which windows is Simple EMR compatible to?
  2. I want to the software to a server shared through the netowork. I want the software to be shared between a doctor and a secretary. But a secretary should not be able to see patient information. Secretary can only book appointments only.
  3. What are software requirements?
  4. Do I get the read me document or help file?
  5. Which database does the software use?
  6. Does it come with Database or should I install it first?
  7. Will I get the necessary support that I will get?
  8. Is there a support website where can I log queries about this software?

There isn't much information about the supported applications, but according to the official website, Simple EMR is compatible with National Drug database. It's possible to have multi-users over the network (admin, normal user). This is possible due to the multi-user feature available within the application. The software requires Windows 7 OS or newer to run properly and Net Framework 3.5. No, the software doesn't come with its own Help or help documents. I have installed the software but no help was available. The database used is in MDB form which means it can be accessed with the help of Microsoft Access. The support can be established via the Contact page. There is no support page, because the help is provided through email.
